Mike Posner – Rolling Deep (Adele Remix)

Mike Posner returns back to the scene. After signing with his record he started to create a different style of music I think but he has returned with this nice new track! He has added his own little electronic twist to it and I am really diggin it. Check it out and hope you guys enjoy.

Ellie Goulding – Lights (Bassnectar Remix)

Amazing Electronic Remix!

Ellie Goulding is undeniably some of the greatest music talent that is beginning to finally be recognized in the music world.

Today I present to you Ellie’s talent remixed with Bassnectar to make an incredible electronic remix! One of the best that I’ve heard in a while.

Neon Indian – Psychic Chasms (Anoraak Remix)

I found this one earlier today and I just thought it was extremely relaxing and beautiful. I do not know much about the artist or track or such but my ears do tell me it is really nicely put together.
As some of you may have noticed I am trying to expand your vision of music by posting things that deviate from the strict hip-hop norm. Let me know what you guys think of the mash-ups, indie style rock and what not.
Give it a listen. Enjoy!

Wait What – This is Real Life (Sick Mash Up Album)

AMAZING MASH UP ALBUM! DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS!

This possibly one of the BEST mash up albums I’ve heard lately. You should never get tired of mash ups because its impossible for you to get too much of them (of course if you are listening to terrible mash ups that are not well done that is acceptable).

This mash up album is extraordinary and best of all it is free to download. The artist and myself would appreciate if you didn’t download it for free because all donations will be given to youth writing charity for education.

This album does it all. Combines hip-hop with different genres such as indie rock to give you the best of both worlds.

You can download it through this link: waitwhat.bandcamp.com

Mother Earth Remixes – Global Warming

Some of the chillest music I’ve listened to in a while from Mother Earth. He is a student at Penn State and has been doing the remix thing for about two years. He blends, remixes and mashes up new and old songs. Whatever he does with these songs it’s good. He’s got about 20-25 songs that I was listening through, but I thought these were the best and had the nicest feel to them. I really like this guy I’ll put up some more stuff in the future.

The Band Eclypse – Break the Sky

Really versatile band right here!
A family friend introduced me to this band back in May before their appearance at Bamboozle, but I did not really give them a good listen until one of their songs came on shuffle on iTunes while I was doing school work. I quickly began to look up their latests tracks and was beyong satisfied from what I heard. I’ll let the band themselves do the talking on their style:

We are The Band Eclypse. We play rock, we play rap, we play hip hop, post-punk, funk, and anything that gets caught in the perpetual blender that is our writing process. Since our first gig as “Eclypse Entertainment” in June 2009, we have stuck together to form a cutting edge, brand new band and sound that hopes to shape the future decade in music. Beginning at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, we hope to bring a revolution in music, bringing the mainstream back to the live band. “Eclypse Entertainment” started with New York emcees Daniel Lonner (aka LED) and Jeremy Jordan-Jones (aka triple j) as well as instrumentalists Eric Sherman, Matthew Yaspan, Ziya Smallens and Scott Jacobson. With the addition of lead singer Jamie Ballan and keyboardist Andy Sherman, we ceased to be “Eclypse Entertainment” and became The Band Eclypse, mixing powerpop female leads with true to the bone rapping as well as the crisp sound of a live band.

I am witness to say that description might just be 110% accurate! They really do combine many sorts of genres to produce the best music possible as well as almost create a new genre in the process. Break the Sky is an awesome song that just shows their talent that should most definitely not be neglected. You guys will love them!

I will also give you a bonus track because I like them so much! They take the Chiddy Bang Song “Opposite of Adults” which has an awesome video here of the original (I wish I could keep writing about them too but this post would be extremely long! But Chiddy Bang is also one of my favorite artists right now! Check the previous post inregards to and about them!):

Diamonds – Ratatat & Kanye West

This is a new beat on an already great song from the Ratatat Remixes Mixtape Volume 2. Ratatat remixed songs with artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Notorious B.I.G., Young Buck, and T.I. Ratatat did a good job with this song. There might be better ones on volume 1, but I haven’t checked. I’ll let you know when I get around to it. For now go download the song and enjoy.
