This possibly one of the BEST mash up albums I’ve heard lately. You should never get tired of mash ups because its impossible for you to get too much of them (of course if you are listening to terrible mash ups that are not well done that is acceptable).

This mash up album is extraordinary and best of all it is free to download. The artist and myself would appreciate if you didn’t download it for free because all donations will be given to youth writing charity for education.

This album does it all. Combines hip-hop with different genres such as indie rock to give you the best of both worlds.

Mother Earth Remixes – Global Warming

Some of the chillest music I’ve listened to in a while from Mother Earth. He is a student at Penn State and has been doing the remix thing for about two years. He blends, remixes and mashes up new and old songs. Whatever he does with these songs it’s good. He’s got about 20-25 songs that I was listening through, but I thought these were the best and had the nicest feel to them. I really like this guy I’ll put up some more stuff in the future.

Super Mash Bros – I Fucking Bleed Purple and Gold

This song is a mash-up of Eminem’s “Without Me” and MGMT’s “Kids”. It changes midway through the song, and I wish they finished it, but the song is still pretty nice. It brings a classic back to life.Take a listen.

UPCOMING ARTIST: OnCue

Might just be the best or top five upcoming artists if you were to ask me.

I love this upcoming artist who goes by the name of OnCue. Young white talented rapper! Hip-Hop is shifting and a lot of young college kids are becoming really good artists and are making some really chill songs. OnCue’s style is just something that grows on you. After my first listen I was highly inclined to go out and find out more about his MixTape which is a mashup album with Red Hot Chili Pepper tracks! (RHCP is one of my favorite bands so I might have been a little biased but I’m sure after you listen you’ll realize he’s AMAZING)

Never Knew You:

OnCue is currently working on his newer mixtape, Cuey Sings the Blues, which will be DOPE and is set to be released September 7th I believe so get ready for what I hope to be the best mixtape of the year (Wale’s mixtape ‘More About Nothing’ is up there too).

A 99 Problem Drive – Jay-Z vs. Incubus

The mash-ups keep coming. There are a lot of mash-ups that ruin songs for me, but this one makes me like both of these songs more. This one is a really nice mix of “99 Problems” by Jay-Z and “Drive” by Incubus. There’s not much to say about it so let it speak for itself.

Eminem ft Civil Twilight – When I’m Gone (Urban Noize Remix)

I know you guys have heard a million and one remixes that have dealt with Eminem, but this one is honestly one of the few really good ones. Urban Noize has mixed Eminem with some Civil Twilight which you guys heard in our first few posts when we established the website. If you missed the post please go back and give it a listen. They are very different however they do make wonderful music.
Give this a listen as both artists have enormous talent and when remixed well enough it just creates even more awesome music!

Mochi Beats – Forever Impossible(Two Door Cinema Club + Drake + Iyaz + Shontelle)

Mochi Beats hands down makes the sickest mash-ups.
This mash-up that I’m bringing you today is a bangerrrrrrrrr! You guys know about Mochi Beat’s from my last post which featured “Say It’s Empathy”. I can happily say I am back with more of Mochi Beats! You might be skeptical of this but you should learn to never neglect a Mochi Beat track because he makes straight fire tracks!  Even though Drake and Shontelle even Iyaz are being overused and abused by many “artists” who are making “mash-ups” Mochi Beats hands down might just have the best mash-up using them. Love his style, ability, and creativity to rework these songs into a whole different song. The art of creating mash-ups is amazing as well as one of the fastest growing genres of music amongst teenagers and college students.
This track is just awesome! Really loving Two Door Cinema Club!

MASH-UP ARTIST: Mochi Beats

Mochi Beats is one of my favorite mashup artists. He definietely has a 6th sense for how to mix music and what songs mesh well with other songs. I love his album that he has released for free. That’s 24 STRAIGHT BANGERS that are all available for free. You can get it via Mochi Beat’s official website. My absolute favorite on that album might just be “Walking on Greece”. Give it a listen.
The other song I am sharing with you is not on that album but lives up to it. “Say It’s Empathy” combines Crystal Castles, Rihanna, Lupe Fiasco, and Terra Naomi. It has such a nice beat and you can never go wrong with Lupe lyrics.

Colin Munroe – I Would Die 4 You (Prince Cover)

This dude never ceases to amaze me!
You guys heard some Colin Munroe’s talents along with others on “Walking on Air” but this song today is just Colin Munroe putting on his own solo breath taking show. He cover’s Prince’s “I Would Die 4 You” and does an amazing job. A very talented artist who is establish himself really well in the hiphop, pop, and rock industry! Keep a listen to this nice tune! Chiddy Bang (ft.Ellie Goulding)- Under the Sheets (Remix)!

CHIDDY BANG! If you have not heard of Chiddy Bang you should immediately punch yourself in the face to come back to reality and get out from hiding under that rock of yours! Chiddy Bang is an amazing group that consists of “Chiddy” and Xaphoon Jones who are both young gentlemen at age 19, but they bring the BANGER with Alternative Hip-Hop at it’s best. I might just have to do a special post featuring just Chiddy Bang sometime this week because of the amount of people who do not know of this amazing duo. Chiddy Bang really packs the bang (pun intended) and slick flow. This remix adds in an extra twist and is just flawless. Personal Favorite!
